Our goal is to provide our children with a developmentally appropriate learning environment where they are encouraged to develop a love of learning.
As ZIC educators, we know that children who learn a language before their teens are more likely to achieve native-like pronunciation than older learners. Once children master a second language, it is easier for them to understand additional language structures,
This is why children from the age of 4 also deliver English, Turkish and Arabic. In our kindergarten, we recognize each child's unique skills and abilities and we illuminate their lives with opportunities to develop their social and emotional skills.
We also provide opportunities for them to experiment, ask questions and work with their peers while doing outdoor and indoor activities throughout the day.
A typical day involves conversation, discussion, questions and reasoning, storytelling, looking at and reading books, learning rhymes, outdoor activities, and plenty of socialising. Specialist lessons in Music, PE, and a modern foreign language are also a part of the curriculum.
Our effective early intervention program has the following characteristics:
- Engaging teacher-child interactions
- Age-appropriate activities
- Multi-sensory content (audio, visual, kinesthetic).
- Zig-zag methodology with alternating activities to ensure focus and participation
